Desaru Beach is a resort beach in Johor that is popular with its beauty among locals and tourists from Singapore.

A placid and quiet 22 km (14 mile) stretch of beach on the South China Sea, the resorts here are no frills and inexpensive, while the activities range from swimming to snorkeling along the largely untenanted sand. Join a hotel-based excursion to see the fireflies that congregate along the banks of Sungei Lebam if you’re looking to do something a bit different. It’s quite the spectacle!
