Visitors can visit Telaga Emas which was first discovered by a villager in 1789. Although this well is located near the coast, it is able to supply fresh water to the entire village! There are also other exciting activities for the adventurous such as kayaking, fishing, jungle trekking, camping, and more – all of which promise tranquility and breathtaking scenery.

For a change, visit the nearby Batu Kawan, where a modern shopping atmosphere awaits you! Crowned as the most eco-friendly shopping complex in Malaysia and the only ‘outlet’ shopping store in the northern region, Design Village Outlet Shopping Mall features an attractive ‘outdoor’ shopping concept with a wide selection of sportswear brands , iconic fashion and extensive accessories alongside the restaurant. Another must-visit destination is none other than IKEA Batu Kawan. This famous Swedish furniture brand is the first Malaysian branch in the northern region. Visit this center for furniture, interior design inspiration, or to taste their famous Swedish meatballs.

Don’t forget to also visit the nearby Aspen Vision City, where you can see one of the container art installations that are part of the Penang International Container Art Festival. This mural by Caryn Koh titled “Connection” was voted as one of several “Best of January 2020” murals on ‘Street Art Cities’, a global community featuring mural works from around the world.

Using Rapid Penang service:
Pulau Aman can be accessed by a 10-minute boat ride from Batu Musang Jetty in Batu Kawan. To get to Batu Musang Jetty, take Rapid Penang bus 801 from Penang Sentral. Get off at SMK Simpang Ampat bus stop and continue your journey to Batu Musang Jetty with the e-hailing vehicle service.
