Roti Canai Pak Mat is one of the highly recommended breakfast spots in Alor Setar. The roti canai they serve is very delicious and soft, and comes with dal sauce and chili sauce which is my favorite. The place is also quite comfortable and quiet.
In addition to roti canai, they also provide various other types of food such as roti celaru, roti bomb, roti tisu, and many more. All the menus they serve are really amazing! The service here is also quite fast, thus adding to the pleasant dining experience.
Parking around this restaurant is easy to find, and they also provide other foods that can be enjoyed. Even though it’s been 10 years since I last came here, the taste is still delicious even though it’s not as good as before. So, it’s okay if you want to try to make some noise here.
Lastly, there is something to note that Pak Mat’s roti canai has changed its name to Bang Jan Roti Canai, but don’t worry, the roti canai they sell is still really delicious! So, if you are looking for a breakfast place in Alor Setar, I highly recommend Breakfast at Roti Canai Pak Mat or Bang Jan Roti Canai.
